The cottage is compact but well-equipped. It is worth noting that this accommodation is significantly affected by load shedding. A staff member was happy to wash my car after my stay for a gratuity.

The guest house is very well located in a secure estate and it's in a very quiet area. We could walk around the streets with safety and restaurants and shops are close by. The reception was friendly and the room and en-suite were spotless and everything was available that one would need for an overnight stay. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

The guest house is located in a security complex where we took our 3 small dogs with us. They were welcomed with open arms and had a wonderful stay with us. The chalet was clean, modern, equipped with air conditioning and literally everything you need for a nice, peaceful break. Will go back again anytime.

Dragonfly Cottage is close to amenities such as shopping, restaurants etc. It is centrally situated to tourist attractions, and within easy reach of the Kruger Park. If you need a breakaway in quiet surroundings, this is an ideal place to stay. Our hosts are delightful.

The guest house was perfectly located for our weekend in Hazyview. We were generously received and had a wonderful stay.

The place we stayed in was really very well laid out and very neat. The only 2 things that bothered me was the pillow on the bed, we went to buy our own pillows on Thursday because the pillow was just too soft. The bed was also unfortunately not comfortable at all and if I could recommend I would say that maybe they should invest in a new bed and pillow, but otherwise it was great.

We used the place as an overnight stop on our way to the KNP. The kindness and willingness to help with everything was noteworthy. We had a nice chat from cats to plants with Cathy and her husband. When Cathy noticed that I was only keeping my fingers in the ground, she also gave me cuttings of plants that I didn't have without asking, I appreciate the gesture and I thank them both very much. A suggestion is that the room we slept in get an air rail for the hot summer evenings.

I was moved to another guestroom than what I originally booked, so I can only comment on that. It was very cosy and well equipped. A little noisy with all the air traffic early mornings. Room was not serviced while I stayed there. Kathy was gracious enough to offer me breakfast for moving me to another guestroom. It was delicious. PS. It is a little dusty under the bed.

We were in the Dragonfly Cottage. It was very neat and clean and well equipped. It might be a bit tight for more than 2 people (we were 2 with our baby). The accommodation is very safe and the hosts very friendly. The accommodation is within an eco estate so you can enjoy walking or jogging within the estate. However, you should know that the accommodation is not located on a farm and when the estate is more fully built it may take away a little of the current character.

Hubby and I have been "negotiating" the possibility of spending a long weekend away in the regions of the Lowveld. With him being a born Beach Bum and myself a born Bushbaby, I have silently resigned myself to plan this trip in full anticipation of his very thinly disguised tolerance and reluctance... During this time I have made reservations for a 2 night stay in Dullstroom and another 2 night stay in Graskop. Due to some obligations and difficulties with his workplace, we have forfeited those bookings and could not find any other alternative accommodation to our liking in those same areas. Through sheer luck and quite by accident I came across the ad for Sabi River Guesthouse on TravelGround. I was so desperate to turn the possibility of this breakaway into a reality, that I proceeded with the booking without any further thought. At this stage I have to confess that, although everything seemed alright enough, I still remained quite skeptic due to the very reasonable and affordable prices. False advertising is no laughing matter and having been raised the way I was, whenever "something appeared to be too good to be true", well, then it usually was exactly just that. However, as I have told our lovely hosts/owners, Kathy and Peter, it all turned out to be so much more and better than anything that I could ever have planned for us in advance!!! We have been truly blessed in having had the opportunity to share their lovely surroundings in such luxurious comfort. We were absolutely blown away - in the best possible sense of the word! From the warm welcome and friendly reception by the hosts/owners, to the personalised little touches to our rooms, the overall luxury, comfort, tranquillity and pristine establishments and very helpful suggestions and recommendations by the hosts, Kathy and Peter have effortlessly managed to turn our weekend into a heart-warming and well cherished memory. Job very well done, guys! Thanks to you I could let my husband experience for himself what I simply could not describe through words. Not only did you assist in opening his eyes, but also his heart to the Lowveld. We have loved every moment spent with you and will definitely return for many more visits. In the categories of great value for money; luxury and comfort; safety, cleanliness and beauty of the establishment itself and its surroundings - you are all aces!
